Stakehill is going green

New asset managers IDRE are leading an ESG initiative at Stakehill to drive energy efficiency for occupiers of our assets. With energy costs clearly creating an impact on our tenants cashflows we are keen to review the best solutions to minimise CO2 output whilst minimising energy bills.

Ian Murray at IDRE stated, “We are at the first stages of reviewing those options, which range from making sure all lighting is LED to structural works to units to allow for PV (Solar) cells to be installed allowing for our occupiers to use clean cheaper energy.”

Jonathan Brown at IDRE added, “The next step is to sit down with each tenant and discuss with them their current energy use and how best we can help to reduce that and switch to a greener solution.”
